The story of JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay is a complex one, with an elaborate fictional tale of a University campus dedicated to natural science acting as inspiration. Each building features a fictional history including when it was built and what for. Guestrooms are divided into 16 departments such as botany, zoology and agriculture, while the lobby rests in the former admin building. The hotel’s bar is naturally located within a former Department of Chemistry, while the Department of Physical Education now houses the gym. 3000+ antiques and vintage pieces have been collected to give the campus authenticity, with many buildings displaying original etchings of natural studies as far back as 1760.
