Rooted in the rugged beauty of Navarino Bay, the resort exemplifies a landscape-first approach to contemporary hospitality, as part of a collaboration by Tombazis & Associates, K-Studio, Afroditi Studio, Alexander Waterworth and MKV Design, with landscaping by Coopers Hill and Greenways. Sunken architectural volumes, planted roofs and curved stone forms echo the region’s vernacular, while interiors unfold in hushed tones and natural textures, creating an calming atmosphere. Passive bioclimatic strategies—such as cross-ventilation and shaded transitions—are seamlessly integrated, while the surrounding landscape, defined by native planting and over 2,700 preserved olive trees, establishes a continuous dialogue.

Alarwool S.L. is a family business with over 60 years of experience in the textile industry. Its origins date back to 1950 in Alar del Rey, a small town in the Spanish province of Palencia (ALAR-WOOL) where the main economic engine was agriculture and sheep farming. That was when Don Pedro Cubero bought the only local industry, a textile spinning facility that belonged to the Count of Mansilla and which employed most of the population in the area. Spinning at the heart of Tierra de Campos, where there was more than 1 million head of sheep, guaranteed the best raw material for its yarn.
