For Arlo, AvroKO worked with the owners to create a concept that centres on a new type of guest, initially developing the guest experience based on small, efficient guestrooms paired with generous public spaces. Designed to be a haven and gathering place for urban explorers, the existing properties incorporate intelligent design into compact environments created with the visitor and community in mind. Arlo is positioned as a launch pad for guests to meet like-minded individuals.

Judges felt that Arlo Hotels NYC represent a direction of hospitality design they hope to see expanded with its “creative solutions that do not seem to make a compromise.”
