The RMJM designed exterior’s celebrates the clean lines and crisp architectural elements that are synonymous with a a New York 1960’s skyline evoking a subtle glamour of the period. The client’s brief to SRSS was to to continue this styling creating an acknowledgment of the 1960’s Madisson Avenue as its inspiration and to incorporate this ambiance across the interiors of the hotel and branded residences.
Given the challenging linear nature of the project’s footprint, SRSS created a series of flowing spaces that intermingle and blurr the zoning between the public areas.
The WA branded residences follow the hotel’s mid-modern styling but with a more eclectic FF&E pieces, art and accessories.
