Tolù Adẹ̀kọ́

Founder & Creative Director – Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co

Tolù is the visionary behind Adẹ̀kọ́ & Co. He adopts a holistic approach to design, collaborating with the finest artisans, craftsmen, and makers to create a unified aesthetic that is timeless yet globally contemporary. He’s an expert storyteller who considers and chooses every facet of every project in order to convey its unique narrative.

Born in Nigeria, Tolù moved to London in 1995. In his teens, he was mentored by Design Museum founder Sir Terence Conran on furniture design. He honed his artistic flair at Camberwell College of Arts (now University of the Arts London), and later attained his Interior Design BA degree at Bournemouth University. During his studies he developed a distinctive aesthetic characterised by classic luxury and attention to detail, craft, and functionality.

Tolù has held several senior positions at renowned interior design firms, including David Collins Studio. He has worked on multiple residential, hospitality and maritime projects all around the world. Selected projects include Gordon Ramsey’s Maze Grill Restaurant; The Ritz, Edition, W, Hilton, and Marriott hotels; and MSC, Norwegian, and Viking cruise lines. Tolù is a proud member of the British Institute of Interior Design (BIID) and The Society of British and International Interior Designers (SBID).

Bedour AlSwayeh

Development Hospitality Design Director – KAFD DMC


Bedour is the Development Hospitality Design Director at King Abdullah Financial District Development and Management Company (KAFD DMC), with extensive experience in delivering luxury hospitality and mixed-use projects. She leads hotel, branded residential, and F&B developments, managing all design phases in collaboration with global operators and consultants.

Bedour balances design creativity with operational functionality and commercial viability to ensure outcomes aligned with brand standards and market goals. Additionally, she plays a key role in shaping guest experiences across multiple projects within KAFD, one of the region’s leading business and lifestyle destinations.

Bedour also holds certifications in Interior Architecture from Prince Sultan University, Hotel Planning and Design from Cornell University, and Hotel Development and Real Estate Investments from EHL University.

Tristan Auer

Founder – Tristan Auer

Tristan Auer was Principal of Wilson Associates first Haute Couture Design Studio. A prominent force in the interior design world, from his early days with Christian Liaigre and Philippe Starck to launching his own brand, Auer is an entrepreneur and interior architect specialising in luxury hospitality brands, high-end private residences and bespoke furniture design.

His signature style can be found in projects across the globe, and he holds more than 20 years experience working in luxury design. Auer has designed for brands including Cartier, Chanel and Hermes, as well as a number of hotel brands including Rosewood’s Hotel de Crillon Paris and Carlton Hotel Cannes.

Launched in September 2015, his firm Atelier Tristan Auer, Wilson Associates Paris sits at the cutting-edge of contemporary creative culture and is currently finalising high-end hospitality projects in the Middle East, Asia and Europe.

Bill Barnett

Managing Director – C9 Hotelworks

Bill Barnett is a globally recognised hospitality, tourism and real estate advisor. He is the Founder and Managing Director of Asia-based C9 Hotelworks. In addition to being a leading consultant, he is a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences.

With over 35 years’ experience in the Asia Pacific region, he has an extensive background in hotel operations, development and asset management. His past employment highlights include Senior Corporate roles at international hotel chains and publicly listed companies. Bill is considered to be one of the foremost industry experts in the hotel residence sector.

To date, Bill is the author of four books on travel, property and hospitality: Slave to the Bean, Collective Swag, It Might Get Weird and Last Call.

Manager, Architecture Design Services (Europe) – Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts

Margarita is a Manager in the Design Services team of Four Seasons, which oversees all new developments across the region of Europe. The team provides guidance and support throughout all design stages, working closely with the Architects, Interior Designers, and the broader design team on each project.

Originally from Greece, she has a broad academic background spanning Architecture, Sustainable Design, and International Relations and Diplomacy. Prior to joining Four Seasons, she worked in Belgium, Denmark, and now the UK, including roles at GA Design and, most recently, as an Associate at Squire & Partners in London, where she focused on luxury hospitality projects across Europe and internationally.

Ali Çalışkan

Co-Founder & Head of Design – GEOMIM

Ali Çalışkan is a Turkish architect with two decades of international design experience across a broad spectrum of project types and scales. He is the Co-Founder and Head of Design at GEOMIM, an Istanbul-based architectural practice to creating meaningful, sustainable, and culturally rooted spaces.

Before establishing GEOMIM in 2022, Ali spent over 17 years at Tabanlıoğlu Architects, where he held a senior role as a key member of the design development team. His portfolio spans a diverse range—from masterplans and high-rise buildings to cultural institutions, stadiums, and high-end hospitality projects—guiding each from concept through realisation.

Ali’s work has been recognised with numerous awards, beginning with the Archiprix Turkey Prize during his student years, and most recently the prestigious Europe 40under40® Award for 2023–2024, which honours emerging voices in global architecture and design. His latest project, Scorpios Bodrum, was awarded 1st place at the 2024 AHEAD Global Ultimate Accolade, further establishing his reputation in the field of hospitality design. At GEOMIM, Ali leads with a design philosophy that prioritises human connection, local context, and environmental sensitivity. His approach blends contemporary expression with the spirit of place, aiming to revive the relationship between people, nature and tradition.

In addition to his practice, Ali regularly teaches and serves as a guest critic at universities in Turkey. He continues to explore the intersection of architecture, art, and technology through photography and film, bringing a rich, multidisciplinary perspective to his work.

Madelaine Chan

Senior Director, Brand & Commercial Operations (APAC) - Design Hotels

With a career spanning over 25 years and a wealth of experience working with leading hospitality brands, Madelaine is an expert in driving revenue growth and cultivating successful client relationships within the hospitality industry.

Throughout her career, Madelaine has worked with some of the world’s most well-known hospitality brands, starting her career at Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore, moving on to an Assistant Director position at Hilton International, before becoming the Regional Director of Sales for both The Ritz-Carlton and Marriott International.

Madelaine joined Design Hotels as Regional Director of Sales APAC in 2019. In her current role as Senior Director of Brand & Commercial Operations APAC, Madelaine oversees all aspects of brand management and commercial operations within the Asia-Pacific region – a key focus area for portfolio growth at Design Hotels.

Beyond the boardroom, Madelaine finds joy in exploring diverse cultures, a passion that enriches her approach to business. An avid baker, Madelaine loves to experiment with flavors and textures in the kitchen to create delightful confections.

Alison Chi

Alison Chi is a design and development consultant with over 15 years of experience shaping thoughtful hospitality and residential experiences that connect culture, craft, and community.

She is the second-generation owner and Creative Director of tonychi, the globally renowned design studio founded by her parents, and the founder of Alison Chi and Company (ACC), a consultancy focused on wellness-driven, story-rich environments.

Educated in Paris and New York, Alison holds a Master’s in Real Estate Development & Hospitality from NYU and brings a holistic background spanning branding, creative direction, and concept development.

She works closely with Owners and Designers to create soulful developments—from Rosewood Hong Kong and The Newbury Boston to The Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore.

Together with her partner, Dr. Bueno del Bosque, Alison is currently leading the next evolution of tonychi with a focus on tonychi Home and tonychi Hotels. Chi and Dr. Bueno del Bosque currently reside between New York City and San Francisco.

Kristen is the Senior Vice President of Global Design at Marriott International, where she leads the architectural and design direction for the company’s growing portfolio in the United Sates and Canada. With a focus on innovation and excellence, Kristen empowers her team to shape distinctive experiences and strengthen brand value through thoughtful design and strategy. As trusted collaborators to Marriott owners and project partners, her team plays a vital role in delivering on the promise of Marriott’s 35+ brands

With over 20 years of experience in global hospitality architecture, design, and product development, Kristen has led high-performing teams and award-winning projects. Prior to joining Marriott in 2020, she held leadership positions at top-tier global firms, including Gensler and Hyatt.

Kristen holds a Master of Business Administration from Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management, as well Master of Architecture and Bachelor of Science degrees from the University of Michigan. She actively serves on the board of 826 National, a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting youth writing. Kristen resides in Maryland with her husband and their two children.

Jamie Coyne

Managing Director - SKS Studio (Dubai)

Jamie is the Managing Director of SKS Studio’s Dubai office. SKS Studio is a leading landscape architecture consultancy specialising in luxury hospitality and high-end residential projects across the Middle East and internationally, with offices in Kansas City, USA, and Dubai, UAE. With over 24 years of industry experience across the UK, Qatar and 11 years in the UAE, Jamie has delivered landmark projects such as Atlantis, The Royal and Six Senses Southern Dunes. His background spans civil engineering, landscape construction, client-side project management and consultancy, providing a unique perspective across all stages of development. Under his leadership, SKS Studio’s Dubai office has rapidly grown since its establishment in 2021, achieving major successes within the region’s luxury hospitality sector.

Meghann Day

Partner - HBA (San Francisco)

Meghann carries a dual role as HBA’s President The Americas and Partner at HBA San Francisco. During her 17-plus-year career at HBA, Meghann has been instrumental to the foundational success of HBA San Francisco with her mastery of skill, expertise in design and business management, and convivial nature. Under her leadership, the boutique studio has expanded its reach into Mexico and continues to earn national and international acclaim for its portfolio of work. As President The Americas, Meghann leads nationwide efforts to drive synergistic collaboration and ongoing innovation in design, further strengthen HBA Americas’ brand position globally, and mentor future generations of designers.

Her extensive global design portfolio encompasses five-star hotels & resorts, spas, wineries, luxury residences, and new-build developments. A student of the world, Meghann’s distinct sense of style and design is informed by her intrepid travels and curiosity of culture, which results in poetic spatial experiences that blend form with function. Meghann holds a degree in Interior Design from Kansas State University. She has been named to Boutique Design’s B18 and serves on the Hospitality Design Editorial Advisory Board.

Sarah Doyle

VP, Global Brand Leader – Design Hotels

A seasoned brand leader, Sarah spearheads the Design Hotels brand, overseeing communications, digital marketing, PR, and brand – paving the way for new innovations within the business.

Sarah discovered her love of hospitality working for Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where she spent six years and eventually became Global Brand Director for W Hotels Worldwide, opening many of the brand’s most iconic locations and leading collaborations with the likes of Will.i.am, Billboard Music and the Council of Fashion Designers of America.

In addition, Sarah has also held senior leadership roles at MSC Cruises, BACARDÍ Europe and Momentum Worldwide, where she worked on marketing programs on behalf of American Express in music, fashion, and film with partners such as Sundance Film Festival and IMG / New York Fashion Week.

Sarah currently lives between London and Berlin, where you can expect to find her loyal Bernadoodle, Luna, in tow.

Mark Eacott

Global Vice President, Design (Ennismore) - Accor

Mark joined Ennismore in 2018 from Los Angeles as part of the Accor acquisition of the SBE Lifestyle Brands. Bringing with it his in-depth knowledge of the SLS, Mondrian, HYDE, and Delano legacy brands, Mark was part of a small team based out of Singapore, instrumental in the growth of Ennismore in Asia-Pacific.

Now under a global role from Dubai, Mark co-leads the Ennismore Global Design Team with Charlie North. Working as a ‘hand-to-glove’ link between the Ennismore brands and regional design teams, Mark is responsible for high-level design direction along with defining the design and product strategy for Ennismore brands, ensuring they remain future-proofed and true to their unique brand DNA and purpose.

Prior to Ennismore, Mark spent more than 19 years working in London, New York and Shanghai, training under renowned architects, designers, and hospitality groups such as Soho House, OMA, Richard Rogers, Softroom, HBA and Philippe Starck’s YOO.

Diana Espejo

Regional Director, Design & Technical Services (MEA) - Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas

As Regional Director of Design and Technical Services MEA for Six Senses, Diana drives the regional growth, design, and development of multiple projects across the Middle East & Africa, working hand-in-hand with Hotel Owners and together with some of the best designers in the world.

Diana is originally from Mexico where she trained as an Architect and joined the luxury hospitality design industry shortly after graduating. Her adventurous spirit drove her to relocate multiple times following her career and passion for design, as well as the opportunity to experience new cultures in Asia, Europe and more recently the Middle East.

Prior joining Six Senses, Diana collaborated in projects for several luxury brands of the likes of Aman Hotels, Four Seasons, GHM and Mandarin Oriental, amongst others, while working for award-wining international architecture and design studios, such as Denniston International, Kerry Hill Architects and GA Design.

Having always been passionate about nature, travelling, well-being and sustainability, Diana strongly identify with Six Senses’ unique ethos. She is a conscious traveller and an avid recycler/up-cycler who is constantly on the lookout for the newest sustainability and design trends.

Kai Fejer

VP, Design – Gencom

Specializing in high-end hospitality design and project management, Kai Fejer has years-long knowledge working in the luxury hospitality space. Throughout her career, Kai has represented internationally acclaimed hospitality brands and real estate developers managing capital projects (renovations and re-positionings) and new builds.

A Cornell University Hotel School alumnus, Kai lived and worked in Eastern Europe for 6 years in the restoration and re-development of the 2nd largest example of art nouveau-secessionist architecture in the world into a five-star luxury hotel. Four Seasons Hotel Gresham Palace, Budapest opened in 2005.

Kai went on to work for Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Corporate managing Design and Innovation for the Americas. During her last three years with Four Seasons, Kai authored and curated through imagery, the personality, sensory experience and ultimate design concept for all new Four Seasons hotels and resorts worldwide.

Kai joined Gencom as Vice President of Design late last year and currently oversees projects on Peninsula Papagayo in Costa Rica including Four Seasons and Andaz hotels and private residences as well as the imminent renovation and re-positioning of Ritz Carlton Key Biscayne in Miami.

Sam joined the InterContinental Hotel Group at the beginning of the year and brings a wealth of expertise and creativity to craft remarkable hotel interiors.

Throughout her career, Sam has collaborated with various hotel owners and operators, contributing to the transformation of numerous properties. Notably, she spent a decade at G.A Design, one of the industry’s foremost international hospitality design consultancies. During this time, she honed her skills and played a pivotal role in delivering exceptional design solutions for prestigious hotels worldwide.

With an impressive portfolio of successful projects and a commitment to excellence, Sam continues to shape the world of hospitality design, creating unforgettable spaces that leave a lasting impression on guests and clients alike.

Dan Hinch

Managing Principal, Planning & Landscape (EMEA) – WATG

Dan is the Managing Principal, Planning and Landscape (EMEA) at WATG, bringing over 15 years’ experience in master planning and landscape architecture. Originally from New Zealand, his portfolio spans the UK, Europe, Middle East and Australasia, in the areas of boutique hospitality and leisure, golf and ski resorts, educational, retail, residential and large-scale urban mixed-use.

Recent projects include the Sharaan Nature Reserve in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, The Viceroy at Ombria, Algarve, The Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Villas in Lusail, Qatar, as well as multiple hospitality projects for WATG’s long-term client, Mitsis, across Greece – including Mitsis Summer Palace, Mitsis Rinela and the under-construction Grand Rhodes Hotel.

David Hodkinson

Founding Partner & Design Director – Studio Noor

Design Director and one of the two founders of the studio, David is an award-winning architect and interior designer, with over 22 years of experience.

British born David received his Master’s in Architecture and Interior Design from the Royal College of Art in London prior to setting up Studio Noor at age 26.

David is a focused, passionate designer who brings a fresh design eye to each and every project. His continual interest to explore new materials, design narratives and a more bespoke design language has resulted in successful projects with well know hoteliers and operators such as Adrian Zecha, Aqua Expeditions, Raffles, Saltbae, One & Only, Design Hotels amongst others.

Together with his business partner Luc Lejeune, David has taken Studio Noor from a local Vietnam dimension to all corners of the world, with their signature tailor-made hospitality projects.

Huxley Hogeboom

EVP, Design & Development – LEFT LANE Development

Huxley leads design and development for all LEFT LANE projects and helped create the new luxury hospitality brand BARDO, which debuted in Savannah last year, and the upcoming RECESS lifestyle hospitality brand launching next year. LEFT LANE is developing hotel and multi-family projects in Savannah, Memphis, Pittsburgh, Providence, Phoenix, and Bozeman.

Huxley is an architect with over 20 years in the industry and was part of the founding executive team at Equinox Hotels, leading technical services with Related Companies and opening the first Equinox Hotel in Hudson Yards NYC in 2019. He also managed new-build hotel and resort projects at Four Seasons, including projects in Baku, Barbados, Dominican Republic, Tamarindo, Dalian, Qingdao, Suzhou, Seoul, Kyoto, and Tokyo over 9+ years.

Huxley is an International Associate with the American Institute of Architects (AIA), Member of the Royal Architectural Institute of Canada (RAIC), and a registered architect with the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA).

Felice Iacobellis

Director - SIRHALO

Felice is an Italian architect and interior designer with a multicultural background, born and raised in Germany. He studied architecture in Germany and the Netherlands before moving to Vietnam in 2002, where he became a key figure in the country’s evolving design landscape.

In 2004, Felice co-founded Noor, a design studio recognised for its refined aesthetic and attention to cultural context. In 2011, he established HALO Design, which later evolved into SIRHALO, a leading interior design firm specialising in hospitality design.

As Founder & Managing Director, Felice is driven by a passion for timeless design, crafting interiors that balance elegance, functionality, and cultural depth. Under his leadership, SIRHALO has grown into a 30-person team, delivering bespoke, enduring designs for luxury hotels and resorts across Vietnam and the region. His approach seamlessly integrates local heritage with contemporary sophistication, ensuring each space remains relevant and inspiring for years to come.

Fadi Jabri

Architect & Executive Leader – Nikken Sekkei

Dr. Fadi Jabri joined Nikken Sekkei in 2000 as an Architect after earning a Ph.D. from the University of Tokyo, where his research focused on the aesthetics of light and shadows in traditional Japanese architecture. He was mentored by Professor Ohno Hidetoshi, Hisao Koyama, and the renowned architect Ando Tadao. In 2014, he became a member of the board of executives, taking responsibility for overseeing and expanding Nikken Sekkei's international projects, with a particular emphasis on the MENA and CIS regions.

With experience spanning over 20 cities, Dr. Jabri has contributed to a wide range of projects, including urban planning, mixed-use high-rises, residential, hospitality, and unique projects. He played a pivotal role in winning major international competitions, such as One Zaabeel in Dubai, the Gazprom complex in St. Petersburg, and a multi-cultural complex for Sberbank in Moscow. Additionally, he was instrumental in establishing Nikken Sekkei’s offices in Dubai, Riyadh, and Moscow.

Currently, Dr. Jabri leads a design studio in Dubai as Executive CEO. He works closely with clients and design teams to blend contemporary reinterpretations of Japanese architectural design principles with cutting-edge technologies, always balancing respect for history with a vision for the future.

Fluent in English, Japanese, Arabic, and Russian, Dr. Jabri excels at bridging cultural and linguistic gaps, facilitating seamless communication across international teams and clients.

Cedric Jaccard

Partner & Creative Director – Avalon Collective

Cedric Jaccard, Founder and Principal Design Director of Avalon Collective, leads the interior design studio with a presence in Singapore, Bangkok, and Shanghai.

With a unique fusion of architectural and retail expertise, Cedric redefines design by embracing a diverse perspective, challenging norms, and crafting unparalleled design experiences.

Bringing over two decades of expertise in hospitality, Cedric's portfolio includes iconic projects like Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), Four Seasons Pudong (China), Kempinski Hangzhou (China), Hilton Singapore Orchard, St Regis Singapore, Andaz Nanjing Hexi (China), JW Marriott Seoul (South Korea), Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua (Indonesia), Four Seasons Maldives (Male) and Four Seasons Suzhou (China).

Through Cedric's leadership, Hilton Singapore Orchard bagged the award in the Suite category at AHEAD Asia 2022, with further awards following elsewhere. Adding to the accolades, the completion of Andaz Nanjing Hexi in 2023 earned two awards at AHEAD Asia 2023 in the Guestrooms and Event Spaces categories, showcasing Cedric's unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of design innovation.

Kimberly Jackson

Managing Director – AvroKO (Miami)

Kimberly Jackson is an associate principal at AvroKO and serves as the managing director for AvroKO’s Miami studio. In her role as both manager and mentor, she leads AvroKO’s multidisciplinary teams throughout the life of a project—from concept & design through construction administration.

Kimberly has spent over 25 years managing projects at all scales. She brings design projects to life by developing strong relationships between AvroKO and the larger project team of owners, consultants, vendors, and contractors.

Prior to her work at AvroKO, Kimberly was responsible for architectural design in a variety of typologies including hospitality, retail, residential, and corporate interiors. She developed and maintained design and documentation standards for multiple international brands. She’s also designed furniture, textiles, fixtures, and lighting products for national and international retailers.

Kimberly studied architecture and visual arts at MIT, minoring in Music, and holds a graduate degree in architecture from Georgia Tech. She is a registered architect and a founding board member of the Hospitality Diversity Action Council. Previously, she served on the AIANY Diversity + Inclusion Council and was a core organizer for the Design as Protest collective.

Amy Jakubowski

Principal & Managing Director - Pierre-Yves Rochon (PYR)

Amy's enthusiasm for design is only matched by her passion for adventure and eagerness to inspire those around her. An award-winning hospitality design executive with nearly 30 years of experience, Amy developed her energetic leadership style while rising through highly-regarded design firms, including Wilson Associates, Puccini Group, BBGM, and JDA Associates. Attentive to client needs, Amy nurtures and invests in her client partnerships to ensure they yield success.

Having managed annual design revenues in excess of $10M and construction project budgets ranging from $25M to $500M, she has the experience, adaptable skills, and advanced understanding of process and prioritization to lead high-profile, complex design projects. Her diverse style is visible in signature properties across the globe, including The Intercontinental Barclay, Viceroy Morocco, and the branded triplex suites at The Lotte New York Palace Hotel.

While building an extensive portfolio, which includes mixed-use developments, hotel repositioning and renovation, new builds, restaurants, residential, retail, spa, gaming, corporate offices, and showrooms, as well as the development of brand prototypes and guidelines, Amy has partnered with global brands, such as IHG, Marriott, Hyatt, and Hilton, to name a few.

Named one of the Top 30 Influential Women in Hospitality and a recipient of a Gold Key Award, the hospitality and design communities have recognised Amy’s hospitality design and leadership acumen on multiple occasions.

Amy's exuberant personality has allowed her to cultivate meaningful relationships across the hospitality industry. She's an active member of ISHC, IIDA, and NEWH. She has presented at various conferences, including the LA Tourism Market Outlook Forum, HD Expo, ALIS, and BDNY. And multiple publications, such as Hotel News Now, Interior Design, and Boutique Design, have showcased her thoughts in print and online.

Outside of the design studio, Amy pours her excitement and enthusiasm into exploring what the world has to offer. With a minor in Photography, she loves capturing moments through her camera lens. She also spends her free time listening to live music, exercising, cooking, knitting, reading, and gathering with friends. Nini has built an impressive international body of work and has been recognised by several prominent institutions. Her work is regularly featured in prestigious international publications such as The New York Times, Financial Times, El País, Wallpaper, Monocle, Condé Nast Traveller, Sleeper Magazine, Harrods and Architectural Digest.

On June 10, 2011, Nini was awarded the Honorary Title of the Grand Order of Prince Henry, with the rank of Officer, by the Presidency of the Portuguese Republic. In 2021, she was appointed Honorary Consul of the Republic of Colombia in Madeira, thus beginning her diplomatic career. That same year, she was also appointed External Member of the General Council of the University of Madeira and Chair of the Council’s Committee on Image, Culture and Heritage.

In 2022, Nini was honoured by the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia with the Orden Nacional al Mérito, in the rank of Caballero. The Red Sea developments are creating 70,000 new jobs, both directly and indirectly, and is set to contribute as a much as 22 billion Saudi riyals (USD 5.3 billion) to the nation’s GDP.
